My Studio Equipment

I work with Pro Tools (002r), Neumann M 149 – which is my primary microphone – and an analog signal path (Summit Audio 2BA 221 mic pre, TLA 50 leveling amp & EQF100 equalizer). All of this is sent thru a Rosetta 200 A/D converter. I also have the dreaded Sennheiser 416, an MXL V69, and access to Shures, AKGs, Rødes, &c. I have the usual compressor, expander, emulator, EFX, &c plugins as well, but use them only when absolutely necessary. I have Source Connect™ and Source Live™ software – which can bridge with ISDN lines, and phone-patching arrangements can be made. I can email up to 20mb .aif, .mp3, .wav/SDII/BWF files - or can overnight the same on CD ...I can even send cassettes!

Additional Skills

I worked in LA radio (though not as a rock or AM jock!!) and on the east coast as a sound engineer/board operator and in production until I switched to VO full time, so not only do I have experience in on-mic work, but can produce finished products as well! I also have resources for full sound design capabilities - from outboard and DAW based effects and processing to sound/efx libraries.
